For the implementation of the special operation Spiderweb, Ukrainian special services used drones developed by Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) engineers, according to RBC-Ukraine's sources in SBU.

"These drones are a unique development of the Security Service of Ukraine using modern technologies, which allowed them to be remotely controlled in real time from thousands of kilometers away from Ukraine's state border, bypass the enemy's existing countermeasures, and effectively strike strategic aviation," the SBU source stated.

The drones were created taking into account the specifics of the targets and are intended to operate deep in the enemy's rear.

SBU operations

Previously, on June 3, the SBU conducted another unique operation on the Crimean Bridge and struck the Crimean Bridge for the third time since the beginning of the full-scale war.

As reported, the operation lasted several months. First, SBU agents mined the supports of the Crimean Bridge, after which, on June 3 at 04:44 a.m., the first explosive device was activated.

We also reported that on Sunday, June 1, the SBU carried out a special operation to destroy Russian strategic bombers. In particular, four military bases were attacked: Olenya, Ivanovo, Dyagilevo, and Belaya.

Later, the head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, reported that as a result of these strikes, more than 40 aircraft of Russia’s strategic aviation were damaged. Then the Ukrainian side announced that 34% of the strategic cruise missile carriers of the Russian Federation were hit. In monetary terms, the losses amounted to about 7 billion dollars.

Moreover, after this operation, in the night of June 6, Russia responded. However, this time Russia was able to use only 7 strategic aviation aircraft for the attack on Ukraine.
