Ukraine's Security Service drones strike Russian oil refinery again

On the night of February 13, drones operated by Ukraine's Security Service (SSU) struck the Andreapol oil pumping station for the second time in two weeks. This facility is a critical part of the Baltic Pipeline System-2, according to RBC-Ukraine's source within the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to military sources, the drone strike caused a fire near the closed distribution unit and the boiler equipment storage area. Moreover, oil pumping operations at the station were temporarily halted.
This marks the second attack by SSU drones on the facility within the last two weeks. The first strike took place on January 29. At that time, the attack damaged:
-
A filtration and pumping platform,
-
Storage tanks containing additives,
- Resulted in an oil spill and fire.
"Every day, this oil pumping station remains out of operation, which costs Russia tens of millions of dollars in losses, as it is part of the pipeline supplying crude oil to the Ust-Luga terminal on the Baltic Sea. The SSU’s 'drone sanctions' against Russia’s oil infrastructure will continue," an SSU source stated.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on Bloomberg's assessment of the previous drone strike’s impact on the Ust-Luga oil pumping station.
