Ukraine's President meets German Chancellor: Topics discussed

Ukraine emphasized the need for stronger support from partners, particularly in the field of security and defense, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"During our meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, I gave him a brief overview of our key needs," Zelenskyy explains.

According to him, during the meeting, they discussed:
- Strengthening Ukraine's air defense,
- Supply of Patriot systems and missiles for them,
- Implementation of the PURL initiative,
- Use of frozen Russian assets for defense,
- Restoration of Ukraine,
- Work on security guarantees.
"I am grateful to Germany for its consistent support for Ukraine. Germany is among the leaders in aid, which is extremely important for us," the President notes.
Zelenskyy in Denmark
Today, October 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is in Copenhagen at the European Political Community summit.
Bilateral meetings with European leaders are planned as part of the visit.
Zelenskyy arrived at the European Political Community summit, which is being held at the Bella Center in Copenhagen.
He has already held brief talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
Frederiksen said that several issues were raised during the discussion, including drones.
