Ukraine's new Magura drone strikes Russian ground targets in Crimea for first time

This time, the following targets on the peninsula were struck by Group 13 fighters:

• Russian command vehicle from the Podlyot radar complex
• Friend-or-foe identification system—the Parol-4 radar interrogator.

The latest operation was successfully carried out in late July 2026.

Special forces from HUR deployed the latest Magura maritime platforms, including carriers for FPV drones.

Thanks to this, they successfully struck Russian ground targets in Crimea.

"From now on, our Magura drones pose a threat to Russians on land as well—this marks a fundamental shift in the conflict to a new dimension. Overall, our operations during the war against Russia confirm that the Russians in Crimea will have no place—neither in the waters, nor in the skies over the Black Sea, nor on Crimean soil. Crimea is Ukraine," comments the commander of Group 13 on the successful operation.

Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Group 13 fighters have destroyed 9 and damaged 5 Russian ships.

Furthermore, they have destroyed 3 Russian helicopters and damaged another. Two fighter jets belonging to the Russian Black Sea Fleet were also targeted by the HUR operatives.
