Ukraine's military intelligence hackers disrupt Wildberries' digital infrastructure

Cyber specialists "knocked out" the digital infrastructure of Russian marketplace Wildberries, disrupting its customer service and payment system, according to the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
According to the HUR, on August 10-11, as part of an operation in Russian cyberspace, specialists from the Cyber Corps community attacked the digital infrastructure of Wildberries, a company that plays an important role in Russia's logistics and the financing of its war against Ukraine.
Despite the facility's high level of protection, the attack caused widespread disruptions - the main remote customer service channel was disrupted, the payment infrastructure was partially destabilized, and additional pressure was placed on contact centers.
Mass complaints were recorded, including reports that customers were unable to make financial transactions.

"The cyber operation amplified the impact of kinetic attacks by Ukraine's Defense Forces on Wildberries warehouses, causing further significant losses for the company that fuels the aggressor's economy and, consequently, its criminal war against Ukraine," the GUR said.
Attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Russia
As previously reported, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a large Wildberries warehouse 150 km from Moscow last night.
Earlier, a satellite image showed the aftermath of a strike on a Wildberries warehouse in Bashkortostan - the fire destroyed nearly 30,000 square meters of the building, roughly one-fifth of the entire complex.
According to analysts' estimates, this was already the company's 21st logistics center in Russia to be damaged or destroyed since July 18.
