It became known which services of the Russian Ministry of Defense are disabled, as reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing its own sources.

As of now, the following have been blocked as a result of the cyberattack on the servers of the Russian Ministry of Defense:

  • IP telephony
  • Domains of the Russian Ministry of Defense
  • Website of the Russian Ministry of Defense
  • Servers using electronic document management software.

Defense Intelligence attacked Russian Ministry of Defense

On the morning of March 4th, hackers from Ukraine's DI orchestrated a large-scale DDoS attack on the servers of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to intelligence sources, the Ukrainian special services possess software for information protection and encryption, which was previously utilized by the Russian Ministry of Defense, along with a trove of classified official documentation from the Russian ministry.

Access was gained to a plethora of data and documents, including classified information.
