Combat drones operated by the special action unit Artan of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence (HUR) are targeting and destroying Russian equipment, ammunition depots, and communication systems. Striking footage of FPV drone crews in action shows how these drone warfare specialists are methodically eliminating enemy positions, Ukraine's Defense Intelligence reports.

In particular, the Defense Intelligence has released dramatic footage showing Artan combat teams in action. The Ukrainian FPV drones systematically destroy:

  • military equipment,
  • ammunition depots,
  • transport vehicles,
  • and Russian communication systems.

The agency emphasized that the tempo of modern warfare is increasingly driven by unmanned systems and the number of skilled operators available.

The Artan unit fighters are proving highly effective on the frontlines, eliminating critical enemy targets.

Frontline situation

According to Ukraine's General Staff, Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have reached 1,060,310 personnel. Just in the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated over 1,000 Russian soldiers.

The situation in Pokrovsk remains difficult. Local authorities report that it is nearly impossible to enter the city or deliver humanitarian and medical aid.

Earlier this morning, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) published updated battle maps showing areas of Ukrainian and Russian troop movements.

Today, Ukraine's Commander-in-Chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that Ukrainian drone systems struck over 23,000 enemy targets in July alone.

Syrskyi also highlighted top-performing units in terms of enemy personnel eliminated.
