Ukraine's intelligence chief reveals expectations for Ukraine front in 2024
The Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in his interview with the Financial Times presented a cautious forecast for the achievements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2024, emphasizing the idea that "our success will surpass theirs."
Returning to the topic of war, he declined to make bold predictions for the year 2024.
“No. I hope that our success will be greater than theirs,” noted the head of the intelligence.
Budanov on the war in Ukraine
Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov stated that Russia could conduct the war against Ukraine at most until 2026. The aggressor country has sufficient human resources for an extended period, but challenges may arise in terms of its economy and technology.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously mentioned that the duration of the war in Ukraine also depends on the speed and quantity of deliveries of air defense systems.
