Ukraine's Intelligence attacks Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant in Russia - Sources
On the night of April 24, the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant was attacked as a result of a special operation by the Main Directorate of Intelligence, according to sources in the special services.
According to information from Ukrainian special services, as a result of kamikaze drone strikes, the oxygen station of the metallurgical plant was partially destroyed, and two oxygen units were rendered inoperative.
Such damage to the metallurgical plant will have a long-term impact on the enterprise's operations.
It's worth noting that the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant is one of the largest black metallurgy enterprises in Russia. The plant is part of Russia's military-industrial complex and fulfills a significant number of state orders.
In particular, the plant's raw materials are used in the production of Russian missiles, artillery, and drones.
Residents of the region, who heard the explosions of the kamikaze drones, claim that there was no air raid warning before the attack.
RBC-Ukraine, citing its own sources, also reported that two oil depots were attacked in the Smolensk region last night. These depots stored over 25,000 cubic meters of Russian fuel.
Satellite images confirmed a massive fire at one of the oil depots.
