Russian forces have reduced the number of mechanized assaults on certain frontline areas. Currently, there are no critical offensives that are difficult to repel, states press officer of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, Oleksandr Borodin in a comment to RBC-Ukraine on YouTube.

According to him, the enemy's offensive actions continue along almost the entire front line. However, the Russian troops have now returned to infantry assaults.

"They have reduced the use of mechanized units. But it's too early to make long-term assessments because they still periodically deploy significant mechanized formations when they deem it necessary — more precisely when they believe they have identified a weak spot. Overall, the dynamic of attrition remains quite stable. I cannot speak about the general situation across the entire front," Borodin explained.

He noted that in their area of responsibility, near the border with Luhansk region, close to Borova, there were recently two very serious mechanized assaults.

"In the past month, the Russians have made significant attempts at mechanized assaults, but since our front line remains relatively stable, they are simply continuing their war of attrition. It might seem less challenging — like, what are infantry assaults? Just 5-6 people. But when this happens daily, constantly, from different directions along the entire line of responsibility, it really is exhausting. On top of that, there is an enormous number of FPVs — between 200 to 300 per day in our area of responsibility. That is a massive amount for a brigade. I mean enemy FPVs targeting us, in addition to guided aerial bombs (KABs) striking our logistics," he said.

Recently, we reported that Russian troops have been advancing near Borova in the Kharkiv region and Siversk in the Donetsk region.
