The Armed Forces of Ukraine are developing a new security architecture aimed at deterring Russian aggression and pushing Russia toward signing a peace agreement, Rai reports.

“I cannot share all the details, but we are preparing on land, at sea, and in the air,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

According to Zelenskyy, the plan includes drone systems designed to reduce the likelihood of Russia continuing the war, as well as improvements to defensive systems and measures to prevent enemy attacks.

“We are working to improve defense systems and prevent the Russians from attacking, and this will push them to sign a peace agreement,” the President of Ukraine noted.

According to Zelenskyy, “this requires the support of the United States.”

Peace agreement on Ukraine

Earlier, US President Donald Trump commented on the outcomes of his recent talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to Trump, all participants agreed that the main goal should be a peace agreement, not just a temporary ceasefire.

In addition, US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff mentioned the possibility of a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia by the end of the year.

Meanwhile, the UK has expressed its readiness to support the idea of concluding a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
