Ukraine's forces do not violate energy truce, unlike Russia - General Staff

Russians have invented a fake about the alleged strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on energy facilities in Russia. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says the Defense Forces do not violate the established energy truce, unlike Russia.
“The enemy's information resources are producing fakes about Ukraine damaging energy facilities in the Russian Federation and in the territories it occupies. In particular, the Russian Foreign Ministry has prepared another pseudo-report on far-fetched attacks on a number of Russian oil, gas, and electricity companies,” the statement said.
The General Staff emphasizes that the Ukrainian Defense Forces strictly adhere to the agreements reached with partners and did not strike at energy facilities both on the territory of Russia and within the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine.
“Fire is carried out exclusively at military targets of the Russian occupation army,” the General Staff notes.
At the same time, numerous violations of these agreements by the Russian army have been recorded.
“For example, in the last decade of March, the aggressor repeatedly attacked energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro and Kherson regions,” the military said.
The General Staff adds that the Russian Foreign Ministry traditionally spreads false and unfounded accusations to shift the blame for the disruption of the peaceful settlement onto Ukraine and continue the war against Ukraine.
Energy truce
Under US mediation, Ukraine and Russia agreed to stop attacks on energy and port infrastructure. The truce came into effect on March 25.
However, despite the agreement, Russian troops almost immediately violated it by attacking energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipro, and Kherson regions.
Among the recent attacks, the attack on a power facility in Kherson. It left 45,000 residents without electricity.
