President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that Ukrainian drones can now strike targets in the enemy's rear at a distance of 3,000 kilometers. The Ukrainian leader thanked domestic engineers for this, according to Zelenskyy's address on his Telegram channel.

In his evening address, the Ukrainian president thanked the warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly the soldiers of the Special Operations Forces. Zelenskyy noted that long-range sanctions have reached the Tyumen region in Russia. This refers to an oil refinery located in that area.

The distance of this Tyumen oil refinery from Ukraine's borders is approximately 2,000 kilometers. Zelenskyy also reported that the target was struck using new modernized FP drones.

"The job was carried out by the new, upgraded FP drones that can now reach targets at distances of 3,000 kilometers. I am grateful to the Fire Point engineers," said the President of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the plan for Ukrainian long-range sanctions is being implemented. Zelenskyy also informed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing strikes at medium range, directed against military targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine said that it is important that this really affects Russian military logistics

Context of Zelenskyy's statement

The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Tyumen oil refinery, located 2,000 km from Ukraine. Now this attack has been confirmed by President Zelenskyy himself.

Due to a critical reduction in fuel reserves, the Kremlin has allowed oil refineries to produce "dirty" fuel with low environmental standards.
