Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces accounted for one-third of Russian military losses over the past year. The cost of eliminating a single soldier is less than $1,000, Commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces Robert "Madyar" Brovdi said in an interview with Reuters.

He said that the average cost of eliminating one Russian soldier over the past year was approximately $918.

It is noted that the Unmanned Systems Forces, which make up 2.5% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, were responsible for around one-third of Russian army losses over the past 12 months.

Brovdi added that there are plans to increase the share of drone units to 5% of the total Ukrainian military.

"By scaling up the use of unmanned aerial vehicles — not just within the drone units, but across the army as a whole — we are significantly increasing the number of targets destroyed," Madyar emphasized.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that in one year of existence, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have inflicted nearly $40 billion in losses on Russian forces.

Zelenskyy also noted that as a result of Ukrainian drone strikes in recent months, Russia has lost about 10% of its oil refining capacity. This has significantly affected Russia's revenues.

It is also noted that due to Ukrainian long-range strikes, Russia suffers losses worth tens of millions of dollars every day. All of this is deepening the crisis in Russia’s economy, which is already approaching stagnation.
