In Chornomorsk, authorities continue eliminating the aftermath of the night attack by Russian drones. They will supply water to the upper floors of the residential buildings according to a schedule, Chornomorsk Mayor Vasyl Huliaiev reports.

“The water supply issue is under control, and we have fully restored it for the lower floors. As for the upper floors, our teams are still working, and for now, we will supply water according to a schedule, which we will add later,” the mayor wrote on his Telegram channel.

Huliaiev also said the city set up the Points of Invincibility, where residents can charge essential devices.

Russia attacks Chornomorsk

On the night of August 31, the Russian army used drones to attack Ukraine’s Chornomorsk in the Odesa region. Huliaiev said it was the largest attack on the city since the beginning of the full-scale war. Russian forces struck energy facilities and cut power in Chornomorsk.

Local authorities said energy workers are already restoring electricity, while the water utility and the hospital run on generators.

Furthermore, because of the Russian attack, Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region also lost electricity and water today. In the morning, an enemy Shahed drone hit one of the city’s critical infrastructure facilities.
