Russian soldiers attempted to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops in Siversk's direction. The enemy used motorcycles for this purpose, the State Border Guard Service reports.

According to Ukraine's military, the Russians decided to take advantage of the cloudy weather and tried to break through to the front line of our defense. For this, they moved in small groups on motorcycles.

However, the aerial reconnaissance from the "GALA drones company" of the 1st Border Guard Command detected enemy maneuvers in time. Accurate drone strikes put the enemy in place.

During the operation, Ukraine's border guards eliminated eight Russian soldiers and destroyed several of their motorcycles.

As reported earlier, the Russian army used aviation in an attempt to break through Ukraine's defense lines near Kurakhove.

Also, on the Vremivka axis, over the last 24 hours, the Russians attacked near six settlements. They managed to infiltrate the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the last 24 hours, from December 23 to 24, the Russian army lost 1,630 soldiers, 10 artillery systems, and 44 drones in the war against Ukraine.
