Russia's losses in Ukraine as of December 24: +1,630 troops, 9 tanks and 10 artillery systems

Over the past day, from December 23 to December 24, the Russian army has lost 1,630 soldiers, 10 artillery systems, and 44 drones in the war against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to December 24, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel - about 777,720 (+1,630) people eliminated;
- tanks - 9,624 (+9) units;
- armored personnel vehicles - 19,915 (+30) units;
- artillery systems - 21,323 (+10) units;
- MLRS - 1,256 units;
- anti-aircraft warfare systems - 1,030 units;
- aircraft - 369 units;
- helicopters - 329 units;
- UAVs operational-tactical level - 20,834 (+44) units;
- cruise missiles - 2,948 units;
- warships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 32,086 (+47) units;
- special equipment - 3,667 (+3) units.
Situation on frontlines and Russian air attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the enemy has had success in five directions on the front.
The General Staff counted 235 combat clashes on the frontlines over the past day.
During the night, Russian terrorists once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed kamikaze drones.
In the Kyiv region, explosions were heard due to the activity of air defense systems.
