Soldiers of the Ukraine's 3rd Assault Brigade are advancing in the Kharkiv region. Moreover, they are successfully taking back the Ukrainian territory, according to the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

"As a result of counter-attacks, the brigade took control of Russia's battalion defense area, platoon, and company strongholds and advanced almost two square kilometers into the frontline," the Brigade says.

The Brigade's commander, Colonel Andrii Biletskyi, says that the main task of the operation was to destroy the offensive potential of the Russian Army.

"At the moment, this task has been fulfilled," he says.

The Brigade notes that over 4 days, Russia lost 300 troops, and a significant amount of equipment and weapons.

"The uniqueness of the operation was that we attacked a superior enemy and won. The success depended on detailed planning, non-standard solutions, coordinated work of artillery, air defense, unmanned systems, and intelligence. But the heroes of the battlefield were tankers, sappers, scouts, and, above all, attack aircraft," the Brigade commander says.

According to Biletskyi, the ratio of forces on the battlefield was approx: 2.5 to 1 in favour of Russia.

The Brigade commander explains that the assault operations diverted Russia's attack from the direction of Makiivka and relieved tension in other critical areas of the front in the areas of neighboring brigades.

"Now the Russian troops are intensifying the use of aviation, multiple rocket launchers, and long-range artillery. Russia is trying to regain the lost ground. However, the 3rd Assault Brigade holds the line," stresses Biletskyi.
