Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree approving Ukraine's delegation for the second round of negotiations with Russia. The list includes some changes.

The Ukrainian delegation includes:

  • Rustem Umerov - Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Head of the Delegation;
  • Oleksandr Bevz - Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine;
  • Oleksandr Diakov - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • Serhii Kyslytsia - First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Source;
  • Yurii Kovbasa - Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in the Security and Defense Sector;
  • Heorhii Kuzmychov - Protocol Officer of the Office for Support of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • Oleh Luhovskyi - First Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine;
  • Yevhenii Ostrianskyi - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • Oleksandr Poklad - Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine;
  • Vadym Skibitskyi - Deputy Chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine;
  • Andrii Fomin - Head of the International Law Division, Deputy Head of the Department of International and Operational Law, Central Legal Directorate of the General Staff;
  • Oleksii Shevchenko - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • Oleksandr Sherikhov - Senior Officer of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
  • Yevhen Shynkariov - Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

What changed

This time, Oleksii Malovatskyi, Head of the Department of International and Operational Law of the Central Legal Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, will not travel to Istanbul.

At the same time, Yurii Kovbasa and Yevhenii Ostrianskyi are two new members of the Ukrainian delegation.

Negotiations in Istanbul

The second round of talks between Ukraine and Russia is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Türkiye. Both sides are expected to present their proposals for peace.

Recently, Reuters published the text that Ukraine will submit. It includes a ceasefire, security guarantees, a pledge to prevent further aggression, and other points.
