Ukraine begins recovery of thermal power plants hit by recent Russian strike

Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said that two thermal power plants, Zmiivska and Trypilska, managed by state energy company Centrenergo, are being restored after the recent unprecedented Russian attack on the night of November 8.

"There were indeed damages. Colleagues have already started restoration and repair work. We won't disclose the successes we plan, but the recovery work is ongoing," the minister said.

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces hit Gvardeyskaya oil depot in Crimea

During the night of November 10, Ukrainian defenders attacked the Gvardeyskaya oil depot in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. The drones hit their target precisely.

According to the military, the oil depot of the federal state institution Gvardeyskaya plays a key role in supplying fuel to the occupying forces in Crimea.

Russia launches large-scale recruitment of reservists

Russia began a mass recruitment of reservists to allegedly guard critically important infrastructure facilities. The formation of such units has started in at least 20 Russian regions.

Officially, the additional forces are being formed to strengthen protection against Ukrainian long-range drones, to create mobile fire groups, and conduct counter-sabotage activities.

Viktor Orbán claims deal with Trump shields Hungary from US sanctions

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced an agreement with US President Donald Trump on an "indefinite" exemption of Hungary from American sanctions against Russia.

"We shook hands with President Trump on an indefinite exemption of Hungary from American oil sanctions. As long as he is president there and I am prime minister here, there will be no sanctions," Orbán said.

Nicolas Sarkozy released from prison after just 20 days

A Paris court has ruled on the early release of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy from prison, replacing his imprisonment with "judicial supervision" until his appeal is heard.

Lawyer Christophe Ingrain stated that the release is "the first step," with the next being the appeal hearing. "And our job now... is to prepare for that appeal hearing," he noted.
