Ukraine reaches network-centric warfare at tactical level - Joint Forces Commander
At the tactical level, Ukraine has reached a network-centered war, according to Lieutenant General Serhii Naiev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"At the tactical level, we have come to a network-centered war, when every platoon commander goes into battle with a tablet," he says.
At the same time, Nayev emphasizes that with the arrival of the latest weapons, the approach to planning operations has also changed, which is carefully prepared to achieve maximum efficiency with the least losses, unlike the "meat assaults" of the Russians.
"There have also been dramatic changes in the organization of air defense, where we are mastering the most advanced weapons and using mobile fire groups, the effectiveness of which has been repeatedly proven in repelling air attacks on civilian critical infrastructure," he adds.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops repelled 44 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions, and repelled the Russian occupation forces' assaults in the Kherson direction. Ukrainian Defense Forces struck five areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
According to the Institute of War Studies, Russian troops have moved five to seven kilometers closer to Chasovyi Yar over an unspecified period, recently advancing along the line east of Avdiivka. They have also recently made some progress northwest of Maryinka.
