The Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing new long-range strikes on priority targets in the territory of Russia in the near future, according to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“Together with the heads of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, we have identified priority targets for our long-range sanctions in the near term. We will definitely implement all of them,” Zelenskyy noted.

Ukraine’s long-range strikes

Ukraine is actively using long-range drones and missiles to attack strategically important Russian facilities.

On the night of October 31, explosions were heard on the territory of Russia. Drones struck energy facilities in three regions at once. In Oryol, after the strike on the CHP plant, part of the city was left without electricity.

At the Vladimirskaya substation, a fire broke out after a drone attack. The 750 kV substation is one of the key high-voltage stations of the energy ring around Moscow. It transmits power from nuclear and thermal power plants to the capital of Russia.

Last night, residents reported explosions in the area of the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl. During the attack, the local airport in Yaroslavl was also closed.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of October 23, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Ryazan oil refinery, which is one of the largest refineries in the central part of Russia.

Also, on October 21, Ukrainian defenders struck the Bryansk Chemical Plant with Storm Shadow missiles.
