The war unleashed by Russia continues to remain a key driver of global changes in security and technology, while combat operations on the front line indicate that a ceasefire is unlikely in the near future, according to a Telegram channel of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Situation at the front

The president noted that combat operations continue daily and there are no signs of reduced intensity from Russia.

In his assessment, Moscow is not demonstrating readiness to end the war, which requires preparation for possible new attacks.

"Today, there was no silence at the front; there were combat actions. We recorded all of this, of course. We see that Russia does not intend to end this war; we are preparing for new attacks, unfortunately. But peace must come. We are working precisely toward this — protecting Ukraine, Ukraine’s independence, security for our people — this is the most important thing," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Diplomacy and global priorities

According to the head of state, the United States continues to participate in diplomatic processes, but Washington’s attention is currently largely focused on the situation in the Middle East, in particular the war in Iran.

Despite this, support for the idea of ending the war in Europe remains among American society and political leadership.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Russian aggression is already influencing global changes in the military sphere, accelerating the development of warfare technologies.

Technological warfare and drones

The president noted that the full-scale war has led to a sharp increase in the scale of destruction and growing threats, especially in the field of unmanned technologies. According to him, many international partners are already aware of this transformation.

Ukraine is cooperating with approximately 20 countries within various formats related to the development of drone systems and the supply of relevant technologies.

With a number of states, political agreements have already been reached, and contracts with manufacturers are expected to be signed in the future.

It is also emphasized that Ukraine’s experience in the use of drones is already producing practical results and is being actively used by partners.

New agreements and defense needs

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that preparation has begun on a cooperation agreement in the field of drone technologies with Canada, calling it an important step in expanding international defense cooperation.

According to him, Ukraine is working with partners to increase the production of air and missile defense systems, including additional missiles for air defense. This area remains a constant priority.

The president also reiterated his readiness to meet Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin in any country, provided it is not Moscow.

He added that signals from Russian President Vladimir Putin suggest readiness for real meetings, while Ukraine has long defined its position and prepared approaches for possible negotiations aimed at ending the war.
