NATO countries assured Ukraine of their support amid the latest brutal Russian strikes on peaceful cities, according to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

As noted by the ministry, at today’s meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, Ukraine was represented by Deputy Defense Minister Serhii Boiev and Deputy Interior Minister Oleksii Serheiev. They informed the allies about the security situation, assessed Russia’s current tactics, and outlined its further plans.

In particular, Serheiev spoke about the consequences of recent attacks on Ukraine, including the number of those killed and injured, as well as the scale of destruction.

At the same time, Boiev stressed that Russia is significantly increasing its weapons production, including cruise missiles, drones, and artillery. Meanwhile, North Korea and Iran continue to provide substantial assistance to the aggressor.

Ukraine called on its allies to provide additional support, in particular Patriot systems and missiles for them. Ukrainian officials also separately urged the supply of long-range missiles.

Representatives of NATO member states strongly condemned Russia’s massive strikes on Ukrainian cities, civilian infrastructure, and the population, emphasizing that such actions demonstrate Moscow’s lack of desire for peace.

They also stated the need to increase pressure on Russia and assured that they will continue to support Ukraine, including by ensuring stable and timely deliveries of the necessary weapons.
