Ukraine needs guaranteed peace without trade in territories - Zelenskyy
It is possible and necessary to guarantee Ukraine lasting peace and security only on the basis of international law. This should be without any trade in territories, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President noted that the replenishment of military points of Ukraine's victory plan would be discussed in the coming days, which could quickly strengthen Ukraine's positions. According to Zelenskyy, the world has a resource of strengthening that will allow it to move according to the Peace Formula.
“These days there will be political consultations between our teams: government officials, diplomats. The military will also talk about filling the military points of the Victory Plan. This is something that can quickly strengthen Ukraine, Ukrainian positions - our frontline in the first place. And everything in the Plan is absolutely realistic for our partners. The world has this resource of strengthening, which will allow us to move forward according to the Peace Formula,” the Head of State said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that peace and security can be guaranteed to Ukraine only in accordance with international law, as stated in the Peace Formula.
“This is our goal, our task - to guarantee Ukraine reliable peace and long-term security. This is possible only on the basis of international law and without any trade in sovereignty or trade in territories. Exactly as envisaged by the Peace Formula. Ukraine needs peace - real, just peace - guaranteed protection from war,” the President said.
The Head of State added that this is possible only in strong positions and only when the people of Ukraine and the partners of the Ukrainian state are “truly united.”
“I am grateful to everyone who helps us and who is ready to make the next week historic in many ways,” Zelenskyy summarized.
Also in the same address, the President said that Ukraine is currently showing excellent results. This is due to the fact that the military currently has enough weapons and long-range capabilities.
