The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, revealed Ukraine's preparations for the heating season during the Cabinet meeting. Specifically, the gas storage has already been loaded with 80% of the required amount of blue fuel.

"We have already injected 11.7 billion cubic meters of gas into Ukrainian gas storage facilities, almost 80% of the required amount. We currently have 1.5 million tons of coal in stock and plan to reach 1.8 million tons," he said.

According to Shmyhal, preparations for winter are also underway in the heating and power sector - repairs of heat and power plants, boiler houses, and thermal power stations are being carried out as planned.

"I call on those responsible for the winter preparedness - the Ministry of Restoration, the Ministry of Energy, "Ukrenergo," and "Naftogaz" - to concentrate their efforts to the maximum and mobilize resources," he emphasized.
