Ukraine has imposed sanctions on companies and individuals that support Russia's military-industrial complex, facilitate sanctions evasion, conduct illegal business activities in temporarily occupied territories, and participated in the construction of the Kerch bridge, according to the relevant decrees of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The sanctions package targeting the Russian military-industrial complex includes 26 individuals and 31 legal entities. Among them are companies that produce unmanned robotic systems — submarine, surface, and aerial — and the software for these systems.

The list also includes companies that manufacture and maintain various weapons, including electronic warfare systems, air defense weaponry, armored vehicles, submarines, ships, auxiliary fleet vessels, port equipment, and their components.

Sanctions were also applied to aviation industry enterprises — manufacturers and maintenance providers of parts for helicopters in the Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-172, and Mi-14 families.

Another set of restrictions concerns seven individuals and 11 legal entities: companies and their executives involved in facilitating sanctions evasion. This includes producers of components for X-101, X-59M2/M2A, and Iskander-K missiles.

The list also covers companies that conduct illegal business activities in temporarily occupied territories and are linked to the construction of the Crimean bridge.

Ukraine will provide partners with all necessary information to coordinate sanctions across international jurisdictions.

"These sanctions strike at the core of Russia's military-industrial complex, from weapons manufacturers and critical component suppliers to networks that facilitate sanctions evasion. We are systematically closing these links, including activities in temporarily occupied territories," said the president’s sanctions policy commissioner, Vladyslav Vlasiuk.

Ukraine's sanctions against Russia

Recently, Ukraine imposed sanctions on Russian Paralympians involved in the war. Another package targets Russian and Iranian companies and citizens that service the aggressor state's military-industrial complex.

Previously, Ukraine sanctioned 10 Russian transport and logistics companies delivering cargo to temporarily Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.

Earlier, Ukraine imposed sanctions on Russian and Iranian citizens, as well as 44 Russian companies servicing the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state.

In February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree imposing sanctions on Russian shadow fleet companies transporting sanctioned oil.
