The Ministry of Defense reported that in March, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck more than 151,000 Russian targets.
The ministry noted that these figures reflect the systematic and persistent work of Ukrainian servicemen, as well as the improvement of existing solutions and the introduction of new technologies.
The Ministry of Defense separately emphasized the growing effectiveness of interceptor drones, which are increasingly successfully destroying Russian strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types.
The ministry thanked Ukrainian warriors for their accuracy and effectiveness on the battlefield.
Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces have recently carried out several successful operations in Crimea and eastern Ukraine. For example, in early April, the USF, together with the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, carried out a large-scale strike on the peninsula, during which an An-72P aircraft was hit and a warehouse with Russian strike drones Orion was destroyed.
Also, USF operators, in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, struck the Alchevsk metallurgical plant, which caused production at one of the Russian key industrial facilities to stop. At the end of March, Ukrainian troops also disrupted the launch of enemy Gerbera drones in the Donetsk direction and destroyed a Tor air defense system.
