Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has introduced a new version of its fixed-wing drone called the Bebradron KIT.

The Bebradron KIT is a modular platform designed for engineering teams that need flexibility in choosing equipment.

The new drone is based on the combat-proven Bebradron airframe. The key difference of the Bebradron KIT is that customers can determine the configuration themselves when placing an order: they can choose the control systems, video transmission systems, cameras, flight electronics, navigation equipment, and other specialized modules.

The Bebradron KIT is available in several versions:

  • Base – a mechanical airframe for users to install their own equipment;
  • ARF – a version with motors already installed;
  • Pro – a platform with a configured flight controller.

BlueBird Tech also offers custom configurations, with the company's engineers selecting, installing, and configuring equipment according to the specific customer's technical requirements.

The company added that the Bebradron KIT is primarily designed for customers who need more than the standard configuration offers.

Characteristics of the Bebradron KIT

The Bebradron KIT has a cruising speed of 90 km/h and a top speed of up to 150 km/h. Its tactical operating range is up to 45 km, while its maximum payload is up to 7.5 kg.

The flight endurance reaches 30 minutes. The drone is launched from a pneumatic catapult. Its operating altitude ranges from 150 to 500 meters.

Actual flight performance depends on the platform configuration, installed equipment, battery, payload weight and placement, weather conditions and flight mode.

Earlier, Turkish defense company FNSS unveiled a new amphibious unmanned ground vehicle called the U-MAV (Multi-Purpose Modular Unmanned Amphibious Vehicle). The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 7 knots on water, while its maximum speed on land is 70 km/h.

We also reported that unmanned ground robotic systems are becoming an increasingly prominent part of the Defense Forces' arsenal. Recently, it was reported that the Protector unmanned ground vehicle doubled its payload capacity and received a new type of communications system.
