On May 2 overnight, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out another series of successful strikes on several Russian military facilities. The targets were located in temporarily occupied territories, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The General Staff said the night strikes targeted:

  • Deployment site of a tactical group operating Iskander ballistic missile systems (Druzhne settlement, temporarily occupied Crimea)
  • MYS-M1 (Mayak) coastal radar station, the Podlyot radar station (Yevpatoria)
  • Three hostile drone control centers (in temporarily occupied Heorhiivka, Donetsk region), a drone depot (in temporarily occupied Novopetrivka, Donetsk region)
  • Russian repair unit near Kadiivka (temporarily occupied Luhansk region), ammunition depot near Ivanivka (temporarily occupied Kherson region).

"The extent of the damage is being clarified," the statement noted.

The General Staff also reported that, following earlier strikes, the destruction of an ammo depot at the Kacha airfield in occupied Crimea on April 29 had been confirmed.

Other Ukrainian strikes against Russia

On April 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian troops carried out a series of strikes on Russian positions, hitting ammunition depots, command posts, and troop concentration areas.

The media also reported that on April 21 and 22, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a Russian naval traffic control center in Sevastopol and other enemy targets.

In addition, on April 10, Ukrainian forces targeted two Russian drilling platforms in the Caspian Sea that were supplying fuel to the Russian military.
