Ukraine attacks military airfield and two oil refineries in Russia's Krasnodar region
Ukraine attacked a military airfield and two oil refineries in the Krasnodar region of Russia, according to RBC-Ukraine sources.
Sources say explosions rocked the Kushchevsk military airfield and the Ilsky and Slavyansk oil refineries on the night of April 27. The facilities were targeted by drones belonging to the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
The attack on the airfield was organized by the SSU in collaboration with the Armed Forces. The airfield housed dozens of military aircraft, radar systems, and enemy electronic warfare equipment.
SSU drones also struck the rectification and atmospheric columns of the Ilsky and Slavyansk oil refineries in Kuban. These are key technological facilities of the plants. According to the source, fires broke out and personnel were evacuated after the strikes on the airfield and refineries.
"The SSU continues to effectively target military and infrastructure objects deep within enemy territory, reducing Russia's potential for waging war. Bavovna (explosions ironically - ed.) burns and will continue to burn in the terrorist country," the source said.
Ilsky and Slavyansk oil refineries had already been attacked by the Ukrainian military before.

There were also reports about an attack on a military airfield in Kuban. Russians claimed that aircraft may have been damaged as a result of the attack.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that the attack was repelled. Shoigu assures that allegedly 66 drones were shot down in the Krasnodar region of Russia.
