The Ministry of Defense has officially approved a new Ukrainian anti-drone pistol for use. The device blocks control and video signals of enemy drones, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The Ministry has codified and authorized the deployment of a new counter-drone weapon in the Armed Forces of Ukraine - a Ukrainian-made anti-drone pistol.

It is a compact, individual radio-electronic protection device that blocks drones' control channels and video transmission signals. The device emits electromagnetic interference, effectively jamming enemy UAVs.

According to the statement, the pistol has a monolithic design, weighs just over 1 kg, and is intended for personal use by frontline soldiers.

The Ministry noted that the device has already passed the required tests and will soon be delivered to combat units.

RBC-Ukraine previously reported that the domestically produced Rarog-10 drone was recently also approved for use in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
