Ukraine approves deployment of droid TW 12.7 robotic combat system

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved the deployment of the Droid TW 12.7 robotic combat system. It is equipped with a Browning 12.7 machine gun, according to the Ministry's press service.
According to the Ministry, the system proved its reliability during combat tests.
Specifications of the Droid TW 12.7:
- 12.7 mm machine gun
- a tracked platform for the most difficult conditions
- remote control via tablet
- operates on digital communication.
"In modern warfare, technology plays a crucial role in ensuring an advantage on the battlefield. The codification and approval of the Ukrainian robotic system Droid TW 12.7 is a significant step toward integrating innovation into the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klimenkov stated.
He noted that the Ministry of Defense is codifying the samples, which are becoming a reliable tool for Ukrainian defenders, helping them to perform tasks in the most difficult conditions.
"Our advantage is a high-tech army capable of withstanding modern challenges,” he assured.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that over 900 new models of weapons and military equipment were put into service this year.
In particular, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and authorized the Oncilla-Shturm armored personnel carrier. This is a domestically produced armored vehicle that performs a wide range of tasks.
