Ukraine, in cooperation with the United States, has begun producing interceptor drones capable of combating Russian strike drones, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Ukraine began producing interceptor drones together with the United States some time ago.
"American-Ukraine production, co-production. I hope that in future we will have more," says the Ukrainian President.

Earlier, Zelenskyy said that by the end of November, Ukraine would be producing 600-800 interceptor drones per day. However, Russian shelling could interfere with these plans. At the same time, the president stressed that this is not a simple matter.
Earlier, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal promised to soon reach a level of 1,000 interceptor drones per day. He said that this is Ukraine's response to night attacks by Russian invaders.
Ukraine already has interceptor drones that can counter Russian Shahed drones with jet engines.
In addition, in the fall, it became known that the United Kingdom would sign an agreement with Ukraine on the joint development and production of advanced military equipment. It provides for the exchange of technologies that will strengthen the national security of both countries.
Ukraine is currently working on countering Russian guided aerial bombs. To this end, several companies are working on the creation of special interceptor drones. In addition, Ukrainian engineers have created inexpensive interceptor drones that have already shot down hundreds of Russian Shaheds.
