Ukraine and the UK have reached the final stage of preparing the 100-year partnership agreement, which includes the provision of weapons and support for Ukraine's NATO membership, announces the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

According to him, this topic was a significant part of the conversation with the new British Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell.

Yermak added, “We didn’t waste a single minute and started a concrete discussion” and emphasized, “What we need - everything from weaponry to support for our NATO membership.”

“We discussed all these issues: coordination during this period leading up to Trump’s inauguration, coordination for organizing meetings between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom... By the way, the introduction to members of the new American administration took just a few minutes, after which we had a very focused and substantive conversation,” the Head of the President’s Office stated.

Visit of the Presidential Office delegation to Washington

On December 4, a delegation from the Office of the President of Ukraine visited Washington on an official trip and met with representatives of the team of newly elected US President Donald Trump.

In particular, in Washington, a meeting took place between Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, new National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Andriy Yermak, and Deputy Defense Minister for European Integration Serhii Boyev.

The meeting focused on the Ukrainian side’s assessment of the situation on the battlefield.
