UK aims to strengthen Ukraine's position by 2025 - PM
The United Kingdom wants to ensure that Ukraine has the strongest possible position going into 2025, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer states during a meeting with his Norwegian counterpart Jonas Gahr Støre.
According to Starmer, by strengthening Ukraine's position, he refers to economic sanctions and the initiative of a shadow fleet to combat critical sources of revenue that finance Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Starmer and Støre believe that unwavering support for Ukraine from countries has been strengthened within the framework of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF). This group consists of the strongest and most ardent supporters of Ukraine.
Starmer and Støre also discussed the need to stay ahead of new threats, including in cyberspace. Both prime ministers agreed that it is important to work closely with NATO allies in all areas of defense and security.
