U.S. not to stop until Hamas releases all hostages
The United States continues its efforts to secure the release of all hostages held by Hamas, states U.S. President Joe Biden.
"We won't stop until all hostages held by Hamas terrorists are released," he reassured.
Biden explained that he is personally involved in the efforts to ensure that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas produces results. In this regard, he noted that over 50 people have already been released from Hamas captivity.
Hostage release
Israel has signed an agreement with Hamas for a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of hostages.
The first exchange took place on November 24, with Hamas releasing 24 individuals, including 13 Israeli citizens and 11 foreigners. They were transported to Israeli hospitals, where they will reunite with their families.
On November 25, the Red Cross received the second group of hostages released by Hamas, consisting of 17 individuals, including 4 foreigners.
Additionally, on November 26, Hamas released another 17 hostages, including both Israeli citizens and foreigners.
