Two Russian drones enter Belarus, one vanishes deep in territory
Two Russian Shahed drones flew into Belarus on the night of October 27. However, one of them went missing and is still being searched for, according to Belarusian Hajun.
According to the monitoring group, at least two Russian Shahed drones flew into Belarus from Ukraine on the night of October 27.
The first drone entered through the “corridor” near Slavutych-Chornobyl between 00:34 and 00:44(). Another entered the area near Loyev at 00:36 and maintained a northwestern course.
It is known that the drone flew further into the country and then disappeared. This has also been confirmed by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which reported that one UAV flew towards Belarus.
In addition, at 00:39, at least two more Shahed drones were seen heading towards Belarus, moving near Ovruch and Pripyat. However, it is unclear whether they ultimately entered Belarus.
Notably, the Belarusian Air Force did not launch any aircraft overnight.
Drone attack on Ukraine
On the night of October 27, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 80 drones. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down over 40 drones.
The drones were launched from three different directions, with most destroyed drones recorded in the Kyiv and Odesa regions.
Additionally, the Sumy region came under fire. In the Romny district, energy facilities were damaged, causing a power outage in Sumy.
