Two fighter jets collide midair at US air show: Details revealed

An incident occurred at an airshow at Mountain Home Air Force Base in the US. Two fighter jets collided in mid-air and crashed to the ground. The pilots managed to eject and survived, according to NBC.
The incident occurred about 2 miles northwest of the base during the second day of the Gunfighter Skies air show. Four pilots were aboard two US Navy EA-18G aircraft.
Video from social media shows the two fighter jets colliding in mid-air and then plummeting to the ground amid billowing black smoke. Four parachutes were seen deploying near the crash site.
Another video posted on Instagram shows spectators near an aircraft hangar surrounded by planes, with black smoke rising from the crash in the background.
According to US Navy Pacific Fleet spokesperson Amelia Umayam, all four crew members successfully ejected from the planes and are currently under medical supervision.
The base reports rescue workers are on the scene, an investigation is underway, and more details will be released as they become available.
Mountain Home police announced on Sunday that the air show had been canceled and warned the public to avoid traveling to the base.
