Trump: US will ensure Russia doesn’t attack NATO allies

NATO members' fears about a potential Russian attack are "not justified," and the US will ensure Moscow does not take such action, stated US President Donald Trump, The Guardian reports.
Journalists asked Trump about the concerns of some NATO allies regarding possible Russian aggression and whether he considered these fears justified.
"No, I think. When this gets done, it’s done, they (Russian soldiers - ed.) are going to all want to go home and rest," Trump said.
The US President emphasized that his country would ensure that no attack on NATO allies occurs.
"Not going to happen, but we’ll make sure it doesn’t happen," he added.
Possibility of a Russian attack on NATO
Earlier, the Danish Ministry of Defense Intelligence Service reported that Russia would be ready for war with NATO within a few years.
According to the intelligence report, Russia aims to fight the Alliance on equal terms and is reorganizing its armed forces to achieve this goal.
Meanwhile, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius recently warned that Russia could attack NATO countries in 2029 or 2030.
