Trump threatens Iran with bigger attacks if no peace deal

The US carried out successful large-scale airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. However, President Donald Trump warned that Iran could face more attacks, according to his address to the nation.
“A short time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes on three key nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Everyone has heard these names for years as they built this horrifically destructive enterprise,” he said.
According to him, these strikes aimed to completely destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment program and put an end to the nuclear threat from what he called the world’s number one state sponsor of terrorism.
“Tonight, I can report to the world that these strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump emphasized during his speech.
He added that Tehran is now forced to seek peace.
“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be much greater and a lot easier,” the American leader stressed.
Trump also recalled that Iran had threatened the US and Israel for years, with Iranian explosive devices killing Americans and leaving hundreds wounded. He especially highlighted the role of General Qasem Soleimani, blaming him for numerous deaths.
“I decided a long time ago that I would not let this happen — it will not continue,” he stressed.
Separately, Trump thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli military.
“We worked as a team, like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we've gone a long way toward wiping out this terrible threat to Israel. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they’ve done,” he added.
US joins Israel in strikes on Iran
In the early hours of June 22, the US joined Israel in strikes against Iran. President Donald Trump confirmed American involvement, declaring that one of Iran’s key sites in Fordow no longer exists.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz recently stated that the IDF will continue the operation, saying, “To achieve our goal, the ayatollah regime cannot remain in power.”
Amid the military actions, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei named three senior clerics who could lead the country if he is removed or killed.
Meanwhile, Israeli security agencies have raised the threat level and urged citizens to remain especially vigilant due to a potential Iranian response.
