Israel issues warning to citizens after US strikes on Iran

The Israel Defense Forces warned Israeli citizens about heightened security measures amid threats from Iran, according to an IDF statement.
"With the approval of the Minister of Defense Israel Katz, and following the situational assessment, it was determined that as of today (Sunday), at 03:45am, immediate changes will be made to the Home Front Command instructions," the Israeli military warned its citizens.
Under the new guidelines, educational institutions in Israel will close, all gatherings are canceled, and only organizations performing vital functions will be allowed to operate.
At the same time, reports emerged that US President Donald Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the US strikes on Iranian targets.
Strikes on Iran
On the night of June 13, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion. The IDF struck military and nuclear sites in Iran and continues to do so.
Dozens of top Iranian commanders and nuclear physicists involved in the country’s nuclear program have been eliminated. Israel has warned it will not stop until its goals are achieved.
On the night of June 22, the US also carried out strikes on Iranian targets. This was personally confirmed by President Donald Trump, who stated that the Fordow facility has ceased to exist.
Recently, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said the IDF will continue the operation, adding that it knows the ayatollah cannot continue to exist for all their goals to be met.
Amid Israel’s operation, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, named three high-ranking clerics who would replace him if he were eliminated.
