The decision of the administration of US President Donald Trump to suspend US military aid to Ukraine was made without consulting with allies. This will have political consequences, according to Polish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pawel Wronski.
He said that it was a very important decision and that the situation was very serious.
According to him, the fact that the decision was made without any information or consultations with either NATO allies or the Ramstein group, which is involved in supporting Ukraine in its struggle, will be of great political importance.
In addition, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that Poland would be safer if Ukraine was able to defend itself against Russian aggression.
“A sovereign, pro-Western, and able to defend itself against Russian aggression Ukraine means a stronger and safer Poland. In the political turmoil and growing chaos, this is what counts most. Whoever questions this obvious truth contributes to Putin's triumph. Understand?” he wrote on the X.

Trump ordered to pause the process of transferring weapons to Ukraine. The supply of US military equipment that is not currently in Ukraine will be suspended. In particular, these are weapons that are on the way by airplanes and ships, or that are waiting to be shipped in transit zones in Poland.
