Trump states that he has good relationship with Putin. Zelenskyy responds
US presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that he has a good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is confident that if he wins the election, he will end the war in Ukraine "very quickly," Trump made this statement during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Trump once again reiterated his claim that he could quickly end the war in Ukraine if elected president of the United States.
"We have a very good relationship (with Zelenskyy - ed.), and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin. And I think if we win, I think we're going to get it resolved very quickly," he said.
In response, Zelenskyy expressed hope that Trump's relationships with him are indeed better than those with Putin.
