Trump says US launches one of strongest bombings in Middle East history

US President Donald Trump stated that American forces carried out one of the most powerful bombings in the history of the Middle East. As a result of the attack, all military targets on the small island of Kharg were destroyed, according to the head of state's post on Truth Social.
"Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island," Trump wrote.
He emphasized that American weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated in the world. At the same time, he noted that for reasons of decency, he decided not to destroy the oil infrastructure on the island. Although he added that the decision could change under certain conditions.
"However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision," the US leader said.
Trump added that Iran is incapable of defending what the US wants to attack, and Tehran, according to him, can do nothing about it. In summary, he called for laying down arms, stating that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons.
"Iran will NEVER have a nuclear weapon, nor will it have the ability to threaten the United States of America, the Middle East or, for that matter, the World! Iran’s Military, and all others involved with this Terrorist Regime, would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what’s left of their country, which isn’t much," he emphasized.
Incidentally, in this post, Trump once again boasted that during his presidential term, he rebuilt the US military and made it the most powerful and effective force in the world.
Regarding Kharg Island, CNN explains that it is a five-mile stretch of land off the Iranian coast that remained untouched during the first two weeks of conflict with Iran. But most importantly, approximately 90% of the country's oil exports pass through this island.
Trump and the victory over Iran
This week, US President Donald Trump has already announced a very strong strike on Iran three times. In particular, on March 13, he stated that the next strike would occur within the following week.
