Trump says Strait of Hormuz could fully reopen by this date

The US and Iran are rapidly advancing in negotiations and are discussing the full restoration of normal shipping in the Strait of Hormuz as early as Tuesday, August 4, according to US President Donald Trump's conversation with journalists.
What exactly the parties are discussing
"Having it open literally by tomorrow, completely open," Trump told journalists at the White House.
The president once again assured that passage through the strait will be free for all vessels, as the US has established full control over this sea route and will not allow Iran to charge any fees.
Trump stated that he would not allow them to charge any fees and that they would not charge fees, adding that there was no discussion of any fees.
What will be the second stage of the negotiations
According to the president, the restoration of normal shipping will be only the first step, after which the parties will move to the second stage – negotiations on Tehran's nuclear program.
"And phase two is we then will talk about the nuclear capacity. We're very strong on it. They cannot have a nuclear weapon," Trump emphasized.
Does Iran still have time
Trump assured that the negotiations between the US and Iran are not very difficult, and called the current stage the last opportunity for Tehran to avoid a strike on the country's leadership.
"I want to give them every last chance before decapitation. I'll give people a chance. This is a big move to do an attack that big on a country; I'd rather not do it. Now we've already through lots of large attacks, but they were normal large. Hopefully they'll come to their senses," the US president stated.
Trump's rhetoric towards Iran remains tough. Earlier, he threatened Iran with full capitulation and nuclear disarmament, accusing the country of duplicity and unwillingness to sign a peace agreement.
Prior to that, Trump announced a new round of negotiations with Iran, stating that Washington had decided to abandon new strikes on the country in favor of a diplomatic settlement. The president also claimed that Tehran and other Middle Eastern countries had asked Washington to refrain from attacking Iran.
