US President Donald Trump said that as part of the operation against Iran, 58% of Iranian missile launchers have already been disabled. He also said that Iran will need 10 years to recover after US and Israeli strikes, according to his interview with ABC News.

“Iran is decimated for a 10-year period before they could build it back,” Trump said.

He also commented on the timing of the strikes on Iran, stating that many people are saying that it is already over.

“Well, there are many people who say it's already over. It's not over to me. It's over when I want it to be,” emphasized US leader Donald Trump.

When speaking about the next leader of Iran, Trump said that the US does not want Tehran to appoint someone to that position without Washington’s approval.

“We don't want some [U.S.] president in 10 years get stuck with this problem and not know what to do with it,” he said.

By the way, several hours ago, Trump held a press conference during which he said that Iranian representatives are calling and asking how to make a deal. In response, according to Trump, he stated that Tehran is late and that the US wants to fight now more than Iran itself.

Separately, US Central Command reported that over the past 72 hours, American bombers have struck nearly 200 targets deep inside Iran. In addition, they added that the United States has already destroyed more than 30 Iranian ships.

Operation against Iran

On February 28, the US, together with Israel, launched an operation against Iran, in which Washington aims to limit Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and destroy the country’s missile stockpiles.

In response, Iran began not only repelling attacks but also striking countries in the Persian Gulf. In particular, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain, and other populated areas were targeted. European facilities of these countries located in the Middle East were also attacked.

By the way, recently, the White House officially outlined the goals of its operation.
