Trump says Iran war will end soon and oil prices will plunge

The war in the Middle East is nearing its end, and oil prices will plunge once it is over, Donald Trump said while speaking with reporters.
According to the White House chief, the war with Iran will end soon, though he did not specify which month.
Trump predicted that oil prices would begin falling as soon as Iran surrendered and the war ended, which he said would happen soon. He added that oil prices would fall sharply.
He also began claiming that food prices in the United States had fallen significantly compared with the period under his predecessor, Joe Biden.
In addition, the White House chief said that almost all prices had fallen significantly.
Trump noted that oil was now cheaper than it had been under the Biden administration. At the same time, he said the United States was exporting huge volumes of oil and had moved a record amount of oil through the Strait of Hormuz the previous night—more than had been exported before the war began.
It is important to understand that the US president has repeatedly said that the war in the Middle East would end soon.
However, insiders close to him have told the media that Trump is determined to continue the fighting until he secures key concessions from Tehran, including on nuclear weapons.
Earlier, the media reported that Trump was planning to resume bombing Iran after the US elections.
Reports also emerged that the White House chief had announced "very big things" about the war in the Middle East.
