"Very big things" are coming soon in the war between the United States and Iran in the Middle East. A meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian may also be possible, according to a statement by US President Donald Trump, as cited by Fox News.

The White House chief says he is currently deciding on next steps regarding Iran.

Amid this, he promised that "very big things" would take place soon.

Trump also officially confirmed that the scenarios currently under consideration include:

  • Total destruction of Iran
  • Country's economic rot
  • Signing a deal with Tehran.

"My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up. They are better behave," Trump said.

Moreover, he added that he would probably be willing to meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York next week.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Iran wants to end the war with the United States and has already conveyed its conditions to Trump.

Tehran is currently demanding:

  • Halting hostilities on all fronts
  • Unfreezing of Iranian assets
  • Lifting of the naval blockade.

The US president has received the demands but has not yet officially responded to Iran's new proposal.

It was also recently reported that the US president sparked speculation with a statement about a turning point in the war with Iran.

It was also reported that China is increasing pressure on Iran to rein in the Houthi offensive.
