Trump's 50 days in office: White House lists achievements

As of the evening of March 10 (Monday in the US), President Donald Trump has been in office for 50 days. Under his leadership, there have already been 50 victories, according to the White House on social media platform X.
"Today, President Donald J. Trump marks 50 days in office and he has already established himself as the most consequential President of our time. The winning never stops — and President Trump is just getting started," the message reads.
The White House also provided a list of 50 victories for the American people under Trump's leadership during his first 50 days. Specifically, he:
- ensured border security in an unprecedented way;
- signed the Laken Riley Act into law, which came into effect. this law mandates that illegal immigrants arrested or charged with theft or violence will be detained. the law was enacted in memory of Georgia College student Laken Riley, who was killed by an illegal immigrant;
- began deporting illegal immigrant murderers, rapists, and drug traffickers;
- announced tariffs that level the playing field for American workers;
- tackled the fentanyl crisis;
- secured billions of new dollars for the US;
- brought manufacturing back to America;
- saved American citizens held hostage abroad (including from Venezuela, Afghanistan, Hamas captivity, Russia, and Belarus);
- restored maximum pressure on Iran;
- signed an executive order reinstating service and compensation for US military personnel who were discharged under the Covid-19 vaccine mandate during the Biden administration;
- ensured the arrest of international terrorist Mohammad "Jafar" Sharifullah;
- unleashed American energy (the US became the world’s largest exporter of natural gas, opened 625 million acres for offshore drilling, and established a national council to maximize the use of America's vast energy resources);
- ended Biden's ban on liquefied natural gas exports;
- amputated all pro-china and anti-american energy policies from the Biden administration that were reducing jobs;
- put an end to the Biden administration’s abuse of the early release program for illegal immigrants;
- strives for peace worldwide;
- Trump signed an executive order to protect children from chemical and surgical mutilation;
- ended the unjust practice of forcing women to compete with men in sports;
- halting waste, fraud, and abuse in the government;

In January, following his inauguration, Donald Trump instructed the US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, to end the war in Ukraine within 100 days. However, as The Wall Street Journal reported at the time, no one believed he could achieve this.
